Pirate talk on in Southampton
A TALK on pirates in the 'golden age' will be held in Southampton.
Dr Ian Friel will be speaking about Atlantic piracy, from 1683 until 1684, at The GAF Centre, in School Road, on Thursday.
Dr Friel will be exploring what happened to a pirate crew as they went through four captains and three ships - each named Resolution - in a voyage from the Caribbean and Americas to Africa and back.
