AN EXHIBITION will take place today to show plans that could see 1,100 new homes built on land in Hampshire.
Developer Highwood’s proposals for homes, shops, restaurants, a school and a community centre on land south of Eastleigh were revealed in the Daily Echo earlier this year.
The £70m complex is part of the long-term plan for the site south of Chestnut Avenue, and a first exhibition was held in October.
The second exhibition will take place today from 3pm to 7.30pm at the Pavilion on the Park in Kingfisher Road.
A planning application may be handed in early next year and construction work could begin towards the end of 2015.
