Caroline Dinenage moves in to Gosport constituency

Gosport Tory candidate Caroline Dinenage has secured a constituency home - in married military quarters.

Mrs Dinenage, daughter of TV newsreader Fred, will share a Ministry of Defence home in Gomer with Navy officer husband Carlos.

The couple’s house in Hambledon – in the new Meon Valley consistency - is now on the market.

They plan to move to Gosport as her husband is due start work at HMS Collingwood.

Mrs Dinenage said she was delighted with the move.

She said: "It will give me a first hand opportunity of seeing the problems caused by the shortage and too often poor quality of service accommodation.

"By being part of the local forces’ community, it will help me to deliver the Conservative pledge to restore the military covenant."

Should we invite the owner??? On second thoughts lets not......Then again we could use him to lay the table.

Amazing isn't it. She not even been elected as an M.P. and she is fleecing the Taxpayer. Here we have somebody who has a house that is up for sale so can afford to buy another one - houses are far cheaper in Gosport than leafy old Hambledon and what doe's Sarah Dinage do? Gets a below-market rent home courtesy of the Tax-Payer - surely Sarah if you are concerned about the shortages of forces accommodation you would not reducing the stock by needlessly taking one. You have obviously learned something from your political aspirations - how to put your nose in the trough. How many other Navel wives aspire to a £60K+ job. It is obvious that you are not interested in being part of the navel community - just a cheap house which you can give back at the end of your tenure. I just hope your husband doesn't get drafted to Faslane!

She reminds me of Sarah Palin.

I don't see any environmental issues being addressed on her web site (which is an appalling design!).
