New Forest WestThis rock-solid Tory seat in Hampshire reaches the borders of Bournemouth and includes coastal and forest areas. Its main population centres are the towns of Lymington and Ringwood. At the last election, the Tories romped home with a majority exceeding 17,000 over the Liberal Democrats. The sitting Tory MP is Desmond Swayne who has acted as parliamentary private secretary to the Conservative leader David Cameron. Mr Swayne served in Iraq with the Territorial Army.
