ON October 18 Moon Bear Rescue, Southampton, once again had a stall at Winchester Covert to raise much needed funds to support Animals Asia Foundation with their campaign to free Moon Bears from the bile farms in Asia.

Everytime we visit Winchester and set up our stall, we receive tremendous support for our work to free these beautiful bears from the tiny metal cages where they have lived for decades.

Soon in Vietnam the first 50 bears will leave the bile farms to start a new life in the AAF Sanctuary which is now ready for the bears.

This sanctuary is similar to the one in China and has taken a long time to build. Now there is a lot of anticipation as every one waits for the news we are all waiting for, that the bears have arrived at the hospital in Vietnam's bear sanctuary.

Sadly all these bears will have limbs missing due to being taken from the wild. This would not have been possible without your support and I hope you will continue to support us not only in Winchester but wherever we go.

There are thousands more bears in Vietnam and China who are still waiting for their door to open. So your continued help is vital to this campaign.

Thank you for your help and support which enabled us to send in another £209.30 to AAF.
