AFTER the shambles over the issue of bus passes in Southampton, does Eastleigh Council really want to merge with them? Their excuse that it was due to matters outside of their control is not convincing.
I received my pass on time from Eastleigh so why could Southampton not do the same? They obviously did not get their act together early enough, and if this is an example of their administration a merger of the two councils would be an unmitigated disaster for Eastleigh residents.
