    Tories gain

At the last General Election, the Labour candidate told people to vote Liberal Democrat in New Forest East and the outcome was a bad result because even then, as people did not want to have Blair as Prime Minister.

Now in the Southampton, because Lib Dems and Labour had shared power on the city council, voters not liking Brown and the Labour Party, have once again lost the Lib Dems seats.

The Lib Dems are a separate political party and must stay well clear of Labour at all costs.

They have only given seats to the Conservatives.

    RICHARD GRANT, Burley.
