Asda’s very poor
DO the people of Totton realise what they are doing by being solely dependent on Asda?
As local residents we have lost our small, independent greengrocers and fishmongers. No doubt next to go will be the butcher and baker. Somerfields, Asda's only competition, has also closed its shop.
Asda offer a very poor service. After shopping there last week I was exasperated at the lack of fruit and vegetables. Apart from this they have been changing the location of several items over the past few weeks - rearranging them in anything but a logical manner. Even the staff can't find some things!
I approached the manager whose only response was that it is due to problems with the suppliers. Why not change them? I am sure others would be pleased to supply such a large organisation.
I am afraid the only way to improve this store is to boycott it and go elsewhere, which is exactly what I shall be doing. I have, incidentally, shopped there weekly since its inception.
