I'm fed-up with attacks on others by the Lib Dems
DURING the recent election campaign I was bombarded with party political blurb.
This year I was particularly disappointed with the information produced by the Liberal Democrats, 90 per cent of which seemed to be aimed at attacking the other parties; in particular the Conservatives and Labour, with little information on how the Lib Dems were going to improve my area.
It makes me wonder if they are concentrating more on what the other parties are doing rather than what their own party should be doing. How much money did they spend on wraparound spreads and newspaper articles? Surely this money could be put to better use?
It was refreshing to read only positive flyers from the Conservatives and Labour. They centred on what they would be doing in the area, rather than resorting to the playground tit-for-tat that the Lib Dems seem to focus on.
If I am honest I am at a bit of a loss during election time. I would love a dummies guide to what each party is doing in the local elections to make my decision making easier.
My decision this year was reduced to a two-party race, as I am tired of reading the constant attacks by the Lib Dems on other parties.
