New traffic lights will make drivers angry

I TOTALLY agree with the letter about traffic lights slowing vehicles (April 29).

I travel fairly often along Tebourba Way towards Millbrook roundabout in the rush hour and I find that any inconvenience in negotiating the roundabout, on my way towards Totton, is fairly minimal. I never see anyone getting hot under the collar.

I can guarantee that the copious amount of traffic lights shortly to be installed at Millbrook roundabout will only make people to become irritated.

Just compare the situation at present with those in the rush hour, either from Redbridge roundabout or towards it and just see the horrendous state caused by traffic lights there!

Is the installation of these ridiculous lights really all about improving the traffic flow?

    P WHEELER, Calmore.
