Health fear over smells from refinery
FURTHER to the recent reports in the Daily Echo, may I add my own concerns regarding Fawley refinery.
As a Waterside resident I have noticed the increase in both the smell of oil and petrol being emitted from the plant. This is particularly evident on cloudy/rainy days, where presumably the air is trapped below cloud level!
In addition, within our home there has formed a black deposit on the walls, windows and curtains. I can even taste the odour, it is quite repulsive!
I am therefore very concerned about the health implications to myself and other residents.
