REGARDING the report of the sex attack on a teenage girl in Palmerston Park (Daily Echo, May 7), I find the comments of Detective Inspector Linda Howard unbelievable.
This young lady must now feel it is her fault she was attacked and the attacker has now won brownie points and has the freedom to prowl public places at will.
Det Insp Howards' comments are not only negative but a poor example of leadership to those serving under her.
E ASPEY, Fareham.
