Battersea Power Station was filled with an army of people dressed in pink bras for a charity walk.
Thousands of men and women met at the iconic building before power walking through London at midnight for charity Walk The Walk yesterday.
They were joined by comedian Jennifer Saunders, actress Sally Phillips and charity ambassador Harriet Thorpe.
Actress Emma Kennedy led a team including TV presenters Penny Smith, Janet Ellis, as well as singer Alison Moyet.
A Fly me to the Moon theme ran, with bras being decorated with aliens, astronauts, and Star Wars characters.
Founder of the charity Nina Barough CBE wore a bra specially designed for the event by Julien Macdonald.
Participants could choose to power walk the 26 mile Full Moon or the 13 mile Half Moon, with the event now in its 16th year.
Ms Saunders, who suffered from breast cancer in 2010, said: "Walk The Walk is a fantastic charity that raises tonnes of money whilst raising awareness of breast cancer, and The MoonWalk is fun.
"It’s a great event that makes you feel good – everyone should do it at least once."
Ms Barough said: "What a tremendous night, an iconic event in an iconic location.
"Has Battersea Power Station ever seen anything like it? A sea of pink as our 17,000 walkers set off on their united challenge of completing a marathon.
"How amazing that these committed supporters managed to raise £3m before even crossing the start line. I am in awe of their commitment, we couldn't do it without them."
Funds raised are granted to support research into breast cancer and organisations which provide support for people living with the disease.
