American Football is rapidly growing in popularity in the UK. From Vernon Kay’s late night highlights on Channel 4 to the Super Bowl, the viewership is increasing rapidly for one of the world’s biggest sports. There’s even talk of London getting its own team.
This enthusiasm has filtered down to the grass roots level in the UK with many teams springing up around the country, including Hampshire’s very own Solent Thrashers.
Our reporter, Liam Garrahan, was invited to their junior side’s training session to see the talent that they have on show.
