A MAN has died after his scooter collided with a post.
Police have appealed for witnesses after the collision on the Isle of Wight yesterday afternoon.
The driver had been travelling along Binstead Road towards Newport at about 4.20pm when he collided with a post at the side of the road.
He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital following the collision, where he was pronounced dead.
Nobody else was involved in the incident.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact Isle of Wight roads policing team on 101.
