A MOTORIST has been cut from their vehicle after a crash on a main road.

Emergency services were called to Redbridge Road at 4pm following reports of a collision involving a lorry and two other vehicles.

A Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service spokeswoman confirmed that a motorist was removed from their vehicle and taken into the care of ambulance services, but could not confirm the extent of their injuries.

Heavy disruption was reported following the collision, with traffic stretching back to West Quay Road.
