Bluestar wants Southampton residents to have their say on the future of its number 16 service from Townhill to the city centre

Managers from Bluestar will be at Townhill Park Community Centre on November 29, to get customers thoughts on the operators number 16 service.

The service runs from Townhill to the Hanover Buildings in Southampton City Centre, and bosses say results from the focus group could lead to 'enhancements' to the service and route.

Bluestar Communications manager, Nikki Honer, said: “We would love to meet with groups of people representing the many different types of passengers who travel with us.

“For example, parents who need to bring buggies on board; business commuters; shoppers; people who use the bus to take them into town for nights out; and concessionary pass holders.

“This is a chance for passengers with different requirements to come and find out a bit more about our route 16 - and tell us which improvements they would like to see in the future.”
