DRIVERS in Southampton are experiencing long traffic delays on one of the city's major roads.
Motorists are stuck in stationary traffic on Millbrook Road West where queues are around a mile-and-a-half long.
Traffic is backing up to West Quay Road from as far back as the Millbrook Flyover.
Some motorists have vented their anger on Twitter, one motorist tweeted: “Don't come to Southampton West Quay. Traffic is a nightmare.”Another tweeted: “Took an hour to get in Southampton. Hate traffic.”
The cause is believed to be 'volume of traffic' according to Southampton City Council and Balfour Beatty Highways Partnership.
