Moped rider hurt in crash in Southampton
A MOPED rider has been taken to hospital following a crash on a Southampton road.
The accident which involved a moped and a car happened in Third Avenue in Millbrook close to Go Outdoors, police at the scene said that the moped rider suffered facial injuries.
A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance said they received a call at 8.09am this morning and sent one ambulance crew to the scene, who took the moped rider to Southampton General Hospital.
