Police have sealed off a Southampton road after a crash involving three cars including a learner driver.
A Mercedes A150 was in collision with a BMW Three series at the junction of Janson Road and Reynolds Road in Shirley at 9.50am.
The BMW then ploughed into a Honda Jazz parked on the roadside and pushed it up onto the pavement and into a wall.
The Mercedes driver, who was a learner driver midway through a lesson, sustained neck injuries and was being treated at the scene by paramedics and expected to go to hospital.
The BMW driver, aged 21, was unharmed while no-one was inside the Honda.
The Mercedes and BMW suffered severe damage to their bonnets, while the Honda suffered damage to its offside paneling.
Police have closed the road and are making enquiries at the scene.
