THERE were long delays on a Hampshire dual carriageway this afternoon following a three car smash.
The vehicles were in collision on the A326 northbound carriageway close to the A35 Spicers Hill junction between Marchwood and Totton.
The black Vauxhall, white Suzuki Swift and black Ford Focus crashed at 1.15pm.
One person was taken to Southampton General Hospital by ambulance with what are thought to be non-lifethreatening injuries.
Up to five other people - including children - were assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not need further treatment.
The cars were initially blocking one lane but were moved to the roadside to await recovery.
The crash caused long traffic jams for motorists.
The vehicles were recovered by 3.30pm.
