RAIL works are causing hour-long delays for train passengers across Hampshire this morning.
First Great Western, South West Trains and Southern Hampshire services have all been affected by overrunning engineering works in Portsmouth Harbour.
The work was expected to finish overnight but because of poor weather conditions has run into this morning and left commuters waiting more than an hour to catch their train.
Major delays and cancellations are hitting stations including Southampton Central, Fareham, Winchester, Portsmouth and Southsea, Basingstoke and London Waterloo.
An information update from South West Trains said that lines at Portsmouth Harbour had been re-opened but it would still take some time to recover delayed services.
