TRAFFIC is building on a Hampshire motorway after a car crash on the slip road.
The accident which involved two cars and a lorry happened on the M27 slip road at Junction Three which heads towards the M271 roundabout.
Hampshire police say the vehicles involved included a BMW X3, a Renault lorry and a Vauxhall Zafira which all suffered damaged in the collision.
One lane is closed as the lorry was blocking a lane of the slip road there are delays on approach according to traffic service Romanse.
The accident was reported to police at 2.30pm and police there is an ambulance from South Central Ambulance Service at the scene, it is not yet know if anyone was injured.
A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance, said: “We had a call at 2.37pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on the M27 at junction 3 exit slip road.
One ambulance crew and one rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene and they assessed one patient who has been taken to Southampton General Hospital.”
The gender and the severity of the injuries is not known.”
