A SINK hole has opened up on a Hampshire road.
Traffic is currently being diverted around the hole which has appeared on the A27 Titchfield Bypass.
Police are currently on the scene and are diverting traffic around the hole which is approximately six feet long and three feet wide.
Traffic is starting to queue as a result around the area as a result of the sink hole appearing which was reported just after 10am today.
The hole appeared as torrential rain passed over Hampshire this morning. Heavy downpours left some roads difficult to pass although Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service say they have had no reports of significant flooding.
