Horses close main road after running loose
One of Hampshire’s busiest roads was closed in both directions this morning after horses were seen running loose.
It happened on the A31 near New Alresford after an accident involving a van and resulted in the horses having to be rounded up.
A police spokesman said the eastbound carriageway had been reopened and the westbound lane would re-open “shortly”.
