Long traffic delays in Southampton
TRAFFIC is slow moving in Southampton city centre today, with long delays being reported.
Drivers heading towards the the city along Mountbatten Way have reported traffic being at a crawl, as it queues as far back as Freemantle.
The delays are being blamed on the volume of people heading towards Southampton to go shopping, and the departure of a cruise ship today.
Delays are reported on Mountbatten Way, West Quay Road, Town Quay, Western Esplanade, Southern Road, among others.
