DRIVERS have  been warned to expect delays on the motorway tonight due to a signal failure.

The problems at junction nine of the M27 for Segensworth and Whiteley are not working properly, causing problems for people leaving and joining the motorway.

Hampshire's ROMANSE traffic service has warned motorists that the issue is expected to last through this evening's rush hour.

It comes on the same days as roads bosses have apologised for problems with the new lights at junction three of the M27, which links the motorway to the M271, one of the main routes in and out of Southampton.
