A DRIVER escaped unhurt when their car overturned on an icy road in Hampshire.
The Mazda car ended up on its roof following the accident just before 7.30am.
According to Hampshire police the driver managed to get out of the vehicle and did not suffer any injury following the crash that happened just outside Burley Golf Club on Cott Lane.
However, the road has remained closed since the accident on the advice of highway, until gritter trucks have arrived to make the road safe.
As a result of the road closure traffic is building up around the village with lengthy tailbacks reported.
