Main route into Southampton blocked by broken down lorry
MOTORISTS can expect traffic chaos in Southampton this afternoon after a lorry broken down on a busy commuter route.
The container truck is blocking one lane on the A33 Mountbatten Way Eastbound between Paynes Road and West Quay Road causing major hold-ups for drivers eager to get home for the weekend.
Recovery services are working to remove the truck but it is not known when the road will reopen.
