A CYCLIST who was killed on a Hampshire motorway last week has been named.
Simon Wagner, 52 from Aldershot, suffered serious injuries following a collision with a Audi A4 on the M3 motorway last Thursday.
As reported by the Daily Echo, officers were called to the southbound carriageway, near Fleet Services, just after 10.40pm, but the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement, Mr Wagner’s family said: "Simon was the best husband anyone could wish for and an irreplaceable Dad to his three children. A truly precious Son, Brother, and Uncle.
“A chartered accountant, Simon had a warm and generous heart, loved life and made friends wherever he went.
“Simon touched so many lives and the news of his sudden and tragic death is a terrible shock for everyone who was lucky enough to have known him."
