A DRIVER had to be taken to hospital after a crash on the A27 near Romsey this morning.
A Renault Clio collided with a Toyota Rav-4 on the road, south of its junction with Gardeners Lane at 11.15am.
The driver of the Clio, a 22-year-old woman, was taken to Southampton General Hospital as a result of her injuries.
Police said it was ‘a very lucky escape’.
The driver of the Toyota, a 28-year-old, suffered a minor leg injury and did not require hospital treatment.
The scene was clear around 12.50pm.
