TORRENTIAL rain has caused flooding on a major Southampton road this afternoon.
Southampton City Council's Highways team took to social media to warn drivers of dangerous conditions in both directions on Millbrook Road West.
There is slow traffic on the eastbound carriageway, while one lane of the westbound carriageway is blocked near the junction with Paynes Road.
A motorist on the westbound side of the road told the Daily Echo that traffic had not moved for ten minutes.
