ANGRY Hampshire bikers have met with a South East MEP ahead of a key EU vote on safety laws they believe threatens their way of life.
More than 100 bikers attended the motorcycle surgery jointly hosted by Peter Skinner MEP and the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) in Crawley.
The European Parliament will vote in March 14 on whether to introduce laws requiring mandatory anti-lock brakes and curtailing bikers’ modifications.
Mr Skinner said: “The proposals as they stand are ill suited to the realities of biking and we have to work together to make that point to lawmakers in the UK and EU.”
MAG’s Paddy Tyson, said: “If riders don’t speak up, the politicians won’t be able to hear.”

Yeah, how am I supposed to be able to pull up at the lights without leaving a darkie or pulling a stoppie?
