Serious crash shuts road
A motorist has died after the car he was driving crashed into a tree.

The man in his 40s from the Gosport area, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash just before 5am today.
Police were called to the scene of the collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A272 at West Meon Hut.
The road has been closed in both directions while crash scene investigators examine the scene of the crash that happened near to Kitts Lane.
Hampshire police said the road was likely to remain closed for some time.
