Pedestrian hit by van
A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a van on a major Southampton road this morning.
The collision happened just after 11am, when the Ford Transit Van was travelling along the A33 Millbrook Road, outside the TA centre in the Solent Business Park.
Police had to close the road while paramedics treated the man in the road. He has now been taken to Southampton General Hospital but the extent of his injuries are not yet known.
The road has now been reopened.
