COMMUNITY-minded Royal Agricultural College students organised a fun-filled day for children associated with Cirencester SCOPE and the Cotswold Downs Group.

Wet and windy weather did not dampen the spirits of the youngsters and their families, who were entertained with tractor rides, a magic show and face painting at the RAC’s Cirencester campus.

The day was organised by RAC students on the RAG (Raise and Give) committee for parents and children associated with UK disability charity Cirencester SCOPE and the Cotswold Downs Group.

Sarah Tennant-Bell, RAC Student Liaison Officer said: “Following the success of the event last year, when we supported SCOPE as one of our RAG charities, we decided to make this an annual event.

“The families really appreciate the opportunity to get the children out and to meet up with other families. The RAC is pleased to be able to offer the venue and look forward to doing so for many more years to come.”
