THERE were wise men, shepherds, angels and a real donkey.
Mr Jolly the donkey led a procession of more than 100 staff and children from The Cedar School in Southampton to the Lordshill Centre.
When they arrived, the school’s 60 four- to 16-year-olds performed the nativity story at Lordshill Ecumenical Church, speaking with the help of DynaVox computers and singing carols to churchgoers.
It is the third year that the school in Redbridge Lane, Nursling, which supports youngsters with physical and learning disabilities, has put on a nativity at the church. For more information, visit cedar.southampton.sch.uk.
