SHE may have just one eye – but she has her full attention on the festive period.

Sporting a Santa hat and winter scarf, Honey is the picture of Christmas cuteness as she puts one paw forward for the Daily Echo’s Festive Pets competition.

Owner Rob Bignell, from Thornhill, South-ampton, said his family took in the chocolate Labrador eight years ago after she finished her role as a rescue dog in the Republic of Ireland.

He said: “She is soppy as anything and loves to play ball, but only a tennis ball – she has a box full of 40 of them.”

Each year she loves Christmas and wore her hat all day after being photographed for her entry to this year’s Yuletide contest.

Rob said: “She is really laid back and does not care. She’s got her Doggie Christmas cracker ready and she is all sorted for Christmas.”

The competition is running throughout the month and we are inviting owners to send in pictures of their pets dressed in their best Christmas clobber in the hope of winning this year’s title.
