We asked if you wanted to nominate your dog as the prettiest most loveable hound in the county, and some 900 of you responded.

This supplement includes, we hope, all of the photographs that were sent to us either through the post or by e-mail.

We hope we have managed to ensure none have gone astray, but we cannot be certain all those submitted reached us. However, only those dogs featured in this supplement can now go forward to the final judging.

Now it’s up to you. We want you to let us know which pet you think is the most adorable. You can vote as many times as you wish either by telephone, text message or by sending us the voting form found on page 18 of this supplement.

The overall winner will receive a fabulous drawn portrait of their dog, framed and ready to hang. And there will be lovely runners-up prizes.

The judges’ decision will be final and the usual Daily Echo rules apply.
