    Blissfields tickets go on sale

TICKETS have gone on sale for this year's Blissfields festival, which will take place at the Matterley Bowl near Winchester for the first time.

Having outgrown its previous site, this year's event promises to be the biggest and best yet.

It takes place between July 4 and 6 and prices are £60 for an adult weekend ticket with camping, £40 for eight to 16 year olds.

Under-eights are free with an adult and tickets can be bought from www.blissfields.co.uk.

The website also boasts podcasts from last year's award winning festival.

Thanks to the change of site, there are 5,000 tickets up for grabs this year and organisers are promising more new, established and unsigned talent.

The line up will be announced soon.

Blissfields was named Best Small Festival 2007 at the Virtual Festival Awards and also made The Times Best Festival list.
