Win a Halloween treat at Great South Run
4:10pm Wednesday 24th October 2012 in Sport
This weekend, young runners will be given the chance to win a Halloween treat at the Bupa Junior & Mini Great South Run in Hampshire.
On Saturday 27 October, a record 2,500 children will take part in the two events in Southsea, the day before thousands of adults take on the world’s leading 10 mile running event, the Bupa Great South Run in Portsmouth.
The event organisers have teamed up with the Blue Reef Aquarium Portsmouth to offer family passes to young participants with the best Halloween fancy dress.
Winners will have the opportunity to use their prize for Monster’s Week at the Blue Reef Aquarium, which includes a selection of Halloween-themed attractions running from 27 October- 4 November.
The competition is open to all participants in the 1.5k and 2.5k events, which are suitable for young runners aged between 3 and 15.
The Bupa Junior & Mini Great South Run is part of a great weekend of running in Portsmouth and Southsea, alongside the Bupa Great South Run 5k and the Bupa Great South Run.
