Tony Hill has been headhunted for an amazing experience as he prepares for his next fight – three weeks sparring with world champion Mikkel Kessler.

The Southampton middleweight was contacted by Kessler’s management team and offered the chance to get paid for being part of Kessler’s camp in Copenhagen as the Danish fighter prepares to take on Brian Magee for the WBA super middleweight title in December.

Hill, like Magee, is a southpaw and to be asked to help such a prestigious fighter, who has defeated the likes of Carl Froch in his illustrious career, is an incredible experience.

The preparations will also aid Hill, who will follow up his superb defeat of Kelvin Young last time out with a bout at Southampton Guildhall on Friday, November 30 – a couple of days after he returns from Copenhagen.
