Hampshire members will be able to watch Gloucestershire’s home LV= County Championship matches free of charge from 2013, thanks to a reciprocal agreement signed by both clubs.

The deal also means Gloucs fans will be able to attend Hampshire’s LV=CC matches at The Ageas Bowl. The deal does not include each Club’s away fixtures against each other.

It is a partnership that has already been established by Hampshire with Essex, Kent and South-Coast rivals Sussex and means that members now have the choice to watch any of 116 additional days’ cricket free of charge next summer across Divisions One and Two.

Hampshire Cricket membership already includes access to all domestic cricket at The Ageas Bowl, priority booking and discounted tickets for England’s One Day International matches against New Zealand (2 June) and Australia (16 September) as well as their T20 International, also against the Aussies (29 August) at The Ageas Bowl, complimentary guest passes and discounts around the ground.

Group Commercial Director, Zac Toumazi said; “We are delighted to be partnering with Gloucestershire on this deal. Despite the emergence of Twenty20 cricket and all of the Royals’ success in the limited-overs competitions in recent seasons, it is widely agreed that the LV= County Championship is still the cornerstone of domestic cricket.

“As well as being able to watch every moment of Hampshire’s home campaign for promotion to the top flight, this deal allows our members to take a look at the opposition and enjoy some additional cricket elsewhere.”
