THE B&Q Eastleigh 10k is on course for a record entry with more than 500 runners already signed up for the race, the largest of its kind in the south.
The event, which is also supported by the Daily Echo, will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2013 and is looking to capitalise on the increased interest in athletics after the London 2012 Olympics and attract a record 3,000 entries.
Race organiser Steve Collins said: “The fantastic summer of sport has clearly led to many people getting back into an activity they once loved to keep the Olympic feelgood factor going."
