Police are hunting a knifeman who stole cash after threatening shop staff.
The armed robber struck at a convenience store in Highfield Road, Idle, Bradford.
The man, who had his face covered, entered the shop and demanded cash from the staff as he clutched a knife.
A small amount of cash was handed over and the man then fled towards Kings Road.
No-one was injured during the robbery, which took place at about 7pm on Wednesday.
But Detective Inspector Stuart Lyons, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, said: “This is a concerning incident, particularly as the suspect was prepared to use a knife.”
He is described as white, in his late 30s, of average build, with a local accent. He wore a black hat and dark clothes with white trainers.
