A LATE Bradden Inman strike ensured Crewe Alexandra’s four-match unbeaten league record continued against struggling Bury at Gresty Road.

Inman popped up in the 88th minute to steal all three points for Steve Davis’ men, who have not lost a league game since the 1-0 defeat away to Shrewsbury on November 17.

The result takes them into 12th in the NPower League One, but they will have to be at the top of their game if they are to remain in the top half of the table after a tricky festive double-header.

Alex first travel to second-place Tranmere Rovers on Boxing Day, kick off 3pm, before then heading to Oldham on Saturday December 29, kick off 3pm.
