Adkins hails his side's battling display (From Daily Echo)

Come on Nigel just for once get them all buzzing for a victory, don't give them (Stoke) any respect, the only way to beat them is to match their team effort, match them for aggression and just add a bit of real skill and the game can be ours. COYRs This one is do-able.

I agree.A bit more "We can do" all we wan't is team work & more pride for our club, supporters, yourselves.

That games was ours for the taking as Fulham are rubbish without Dembele, but KD,s latest fumble gave them the advantage and it took us too long to score and by then it was too late.

Turned out to be a good point, but should have been a maximum haul.
How many more silly goals dovwe intend to gift the opposition this year?

Kelvin's distribution better now though - seems to get rid rather than playing suicide balls now.
Stoke are horrible to watch, just like West Ham, but are ruthless..would take another point there now...

I agree with posts so far and I think from what I heard on Solent it sounded like we should have gone there with a bit more intention to win than to grind out a draw, perhaps we could have won...Fulham really aren't that good!
I am an Adkins supporter in the main and clearly I don't have his insight as a football manager, but I'm not too convinced by some of his position selections and the timing of the subs, he always seems to be about 15 minutes too late for the subs to make real difference to a game... It was interesting when Adam Blackmore asked Adkins the question over whether Ramirez is really suited to filling in for Lallana on the left, he said he would take a look at it and make a decision, but when it seems obvious to everyone else that it's not his best position, why isn't it obvious to Adkins?

i was more disapointed with the sunderland result, any point away in the prem is well earned. saints never make it easy for themselves, ive supported saints for 45 years and dont recall saints ever taking the easy route to survival,we all have to stick together and pinch ourselves how far we have come since the rupert lowe depressing days. i think we will stay up but it wont be for the faint hearted. i watched the game over here in florida and must mention the fantastic red army , you were brilliant as usual. we have incredible away support for a team that is struggling in the prem, great to be here though isnt it. cant wait to come back for another game at st marys, i managed to get home for the reading game. still outside the drop zone at mo so come on you negs, get behind our beloved saints i go effen mad out here when we score and beserk when we win. the natives dont get it but w t f, u t s .

Kelv has been loyal and also very well paid unlike the programme sellers, the new ones have better tits though! No time for sentiment he has to go.

Cant decide if we should of gone for it more yesterday or not

After a first 10 games of the season where we gambled in going for goals and got a record for conceding i think we arent ready to go back to full on attacking again especially now we have a more solid looking defence and cork sitting in front etc

Over the years alot of good teams have built from the back. If we had had the keeper situation sorted we would of picked up prob another 5 points from this recent run

That would then of made this is an incredible turnaround after first 10 games. Even without the extra 5 it has been a good confidence building run.

Really now we have a run of games feom stoke onwards where we play the better teams again as we start the second half playing teams again.

If we can stay out of the bottom three and not take too many big defeats and keep confidence high and spend on a gk in window then maybe we can gamble again in more attacking in the last 8 or 9 games when hopefully a fully fit team , and all of em that bit more experienced ...and some winnable games in the mix

So all in all a good point at fulham as it kind of keeps the run going

We are due a game where it all clicks like it did against newcastle and if thats in one of the next 2 games we could be looking at the table in good position by the time chelsea come a calling in the cup

sorry to say but we did nt make our passes too any notmaking their mark this s one of out bigest problem, what about GR 12 millon we paid and from what I seen over the season he does not seem to have the were for to play in the Prem, we were like we were when played we played Sunderland in the first half a lot better in teh 2nd but we wil not get a result if we play like we have been at Stoke COR'swe need to pick up max points over the next too matchs

A few months ago he was too early with the subs, someone will always moan. Considering he plays on the left for Uruguay and played on the left for his entire stint at Bologna, you would think he could play there.

Funnily enough, we're looking fairly solid at the back now, no getting ripped apart, but the silly mistakes like Kelvin's yesterday are costing us...
We do however have a problem in the final third. We're not making that final pass like Fulham yesterday, or Johnson's ball for Sunderland that gives our strikers a clear shot.
Hope Nigel works on this on the training ground over the next couple of days...

'Fairly solid at the back now' where does that come from? Clyne was poor yesterday; Fonte struggled all game with Berbatov resulting in him hoofing all match; Yashida constantly passed to Fulham and Shaw probably because he was tired had a poor game!!!! It won't get any better - look at the fixtures coming up!!!!!!!!!!

If we were that bad in defence, can you explain why Fulham had so few shots?
