hmmm goals have dried up and we havent played well since beating newcastle (reading was ok) so I would say we need some creativity especially on the left hand side. We have not created any clear cut chances since the reading game. The defence is doing well although a decent CB addition would still be welcome. Our fullbacks are superb and will keep getting better.

I think we need 3-4 additions with LM/LW priority. Then box to box midfielder and a CB.

get jwp or tad lee in midfield sorted.you will need 15mil to replace llalana

We should raise money through selling Lambert amd Punch while we can, get Sharp back and sign Hooper thats my front 2.

I will insist, please NA, NC, check this guy up... Beñat Etxebarría Urkiaga. Around £8.5M just the guy we need in the midfield to play together with Lallana. He is a typical Spanish player, a brain in the midfield, a creative type.

I actually prefer the tight lipped approach. Why bother with all the endless pointless chgit chat about which players we might or might not buy or sell. I am only interested when the deal is done - not the might be's.

Business is best done behind closed doors - not in public with uncle Tom Cobbly throwing in their three halfpennys worth. It's more professional and reflects better on the club - and also doesn't give other clubs an udea where we consider our weaknesses or strengths to lie.

I totally agree with #1saintsfan.

IMO there isn't much competition for places in our midfield. Cork, Morgan, Puncheon, Lallana and Ramirez are first choice and there isn't anyone else pushing them. Which I think is part of the reason goals are drying up. I also think part of the reason is we do miss Lallana, I don't believe we are a one man team but I think it's clear we don't have anyone to replace him.

Defence is a must but we need to add a bit more steel and creativity to our midfield. I would like to see us go back in for Matt Phillips.

JWP - bring him in he played very well against the big clubs for the first 5 games of the season. IMO he's ahead of Spider and probaby Cork. Spider seems to have gone off. Whether its the fact that he's on 4 yellow cards I don't knowbut the last few games he has played he seems to lack any form of determination and at times appears pedestrian. Cork is a good player but (apart from Fulham) is frightened to shoot! JWP would make a difference and I hope he starts against Stoke!
