Spot on. He won't get another goal like that for the rest of his career. Can't believe we still have the Guly and J Rod knockers on here today. OK Guly missed a sitter. He also started the ball rolling with an inch perfect cross to SRL. Some guy earlier said J Rod was unnoticeable. He must have fallen asleep for the second and third. Im with Stroppy. We've slowly improved and now have a great chance of staying in this league. Bring on 2013. The rise of the Saints and the demise of the Skunts.
Guly and Rodriguez are poor players. Guly put a good cross in for Lambert to score apart from that he did nothing apart from miss an open goal!! Rodriguez ran around with no end product! He scored a goal but the ball had come off the bar and he tapped it in! How people get excited over that is beyond me!!!!!! We need a good striker who's prepared to graft. We need two quality centre backs a left back to cover Shaw who's looking tired a pacey left winger as Lallana is out until late February / March and a decent quality goalkeeper. Acquire these and get a manager who is tactically aware and will play players for the right reasons rather than trying to keep them happy then Saints may survive.

Oh yes get rid of the biggest waste of money and drain on the coffers - Ramirez!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    !!!!!!
Hmmm, thought you said on Friday that we would lose 2-0 to Stoke?

For a doom & gloom monger, surely 3-3 is then a positive?

Or are you going to contradict yourself?
Living in NZ perhaps its best you concentrate on rugby and cricket and leave the football to us!!!!
Er, as my name suggests, I'm NOT in NZ anymore, but hail from Southampton where I now reside again, watching Saints as I have done from 1976 - 2010, & from August 2012 to the current day.

Your crystal ball isn't working - again."

Nigel Adkins hailed Saints’ draw at Stoke as “a fantastic point.”

The boss was delighted with a 3-3 draw at the Britannia Stadium despite seeing his side lose a 3-1 lead against ten men.

He said: “It’s a fantastic point away from home.

“You look at Stoke and the Britannia Stadium and they had only conceded three goals at home this season and we’ve scored three and could have scored more.

“It’s always a difficult place to come to, our supporters were great and first half it was only us you could hear because our game management was spot on.

“We came away from home and changed a few of the players around because we knew we’d have to deal with an aerial bombardment that would probably come and the players have been top drawer. We scored some really good goals.”
