HEAVY duty batteries and 400 litres of diesel were stolen from a works site near junction 37 of the M6 between Sedbergh and Kendal.
The items were taken from work vehicles at Roan Edge quarry sometime between December 21 and 30.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity should contact PC Roy Davidson on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
